About
Us
We’re
television broadcast professionals who can deliver anything
from a simple “talking head” presentation
to a full blown documentary.
Company
founder Rick Griffith is a former NBC TV Affiliate News Reporter
who brings his expertise as a Broadcast Journalist to the world
of Streaming Video:
“Internet
video presentations need to be brief for the most part; somewhat
like TV News—keep it simple. You can
tell a wonderful story in less than two minutes—if you know what you’re
doing. Lead with your best
shots. Use customer testimonials. They’re real. They’re believable.
Does your product move? Let’s see it move. Let’s hear what it sounds
like What do happy customers look like as the enjoy the benefits of your product
or service. Nothing sells it like video. It doesn’t get any more
real and simple than that.
“If
it’s a sales video, all
the video needs to do is make our client’s
phone ring, or move the web shopper to place an order. Whatever your message
is, try telling it with streaming video and watch the magic begin.
“One
should never accept anything short of broadcast quality. It
really doesn’t cost much more to do the job right. If your video looks
less than professional, so will your company.
“When
I was in TV news I learned to produce short videos on a tight
budget and still make them look good on the evening news. That’s
what we do at Website Video Works; we work with our client’s budget in
mind.
“We
offer excellent photography, good editing, crisp writing, and great voice work
at an affordable price. That’s why
we never miss anybody on price.”
With
Website Video Works quality is a top priority. When you’re looking
for someone to stream your video, be certain they have your best interest in
mind. When compressing and encoding your video, the editor has many choices.
We always use the highest quality settings in everything we do; it takes longer
but it makes your video look as clean and crisp as possible.
Here’s an
example of encoding video the right way: When we encode your video we create
three versions, one each for the various player speeds. For Cable Modems, a five
minute video will take about one hour and 20 minutes to encode (convert a non-compressed
AVI file to a Windows Media Player file). For DSL play it’s about 50 minutes.
And about 10 minutes for the Dial-Up Modem version.
The
other way to do this is to encode your beautiful video at the medium settings,
thereby saving an hour in the process. Technically speaking one would convert
the original video project to an AVI file using a variety of compressors. Compressors
literally shrink the original video file down to a mere 10% of original. But
the cost of doing this is the elimination of important data—data which
should be there to make your presentation as rich as possible.
In
short, we like to leave your video files as fat and healthy
as we possibly can. It takes longer but it’s well worth the effort.
Our
advice is that whomever you choose to compress, encode, and
stream your video, save yourself some heartache and look at
their work. It may look good on VHS tape or DVD, but be certain
to see how it plays on the internet.
We
want your video to look as good as possible, that’s
why we do not charge for compressing and encoding when you stream your video
with us.
Our
sister company, www.GoTravelMedia.TV,
produces videos for Hotels and Resorts.
